Powerful Massage Therapy for Stress Release, Increased Energy and Improving Wellbeing

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What do I need to do before my Thai massage treatment

The first thing is to let me know if you have any injuries or conditions that I need to know about. Please see About Thai Massage: Contraindications.

It is important to prepare your body for the treatment by drinking 1 1/2 to 2 litres of water per day for a few days before our session. The effectiveness of the massage is greatly improved when your body is hydrated.

What shall I wear during a treatment?

T-shirt and tracksuits are the most suitable and comfortable clothing for Thai massage therapy. I advice you to bring a blanket or a jumper with you, because the temperature of the clients body drops during the treatment, and it is important to keep warm throughout the session.

What will happen after my treatment?

After the Thai massage session, you will tend to feel uplifted and energised. However it is possible to feel a bit tired as well. This is normal as a lot of subtle cleansing is taking place, and toxins are released from your cells. It can take 4-5 days for the energy balancing to be completed and therefore it is also important to drink water in the first few days after the massage in order to speed up the flushing of the toxins out of your body.

Where is the ideal place to have the treatment?

I usually do Thai Massage treatments at my client's home. The space should be reasonably well protected from disturbances such as phone calls. All that is required is the appropriate floor space, which should be approximately the size of a double bed.
